Another Grand Banks Yachts in Europe

Grand Banks Yachts 43 Heritage Eu hull #11 in Europe. The 43 Heritage EU, the smallest in the Grand Banks range, continues to be a popular model throughout Europe with Hull #11 recently sold and delivered to its new owner in Sweden. The next 43 Heritage EU to arrive in Europe will be Hull #14 which will be on display at Amsterdam Boat Show in September and is available for sale. With the 43 Heritage EU you can sip fuel for a thousand miles, or speed across the horizon at 23 knots. Handle a tight slip and a tall sea with equal confidence. Cruise in style and luxury as much ultimate practicality.  The 43 Heritage EU comes fully equipped for cruising with twin Cummins QSC8.3 600 HP shaft drive engines. These power the 43EU to a top speed of over 24 knots, with a high cruising speed of 20 knots. At the same time, the 43EU also provides a supremely comfortable and stable ride and slower, displacement-style speeds. Solid performance across a wide speed range is thanks in part to its modified-V hull—the same hull design that gained its predecessor such high marks among owners and critics worldwide.

“It’s the perfect boat for a weekend out with friends or family, but also provides the space and comforts for a whole summer spent out on the Med”, says Hank Compton, GB’s Managing Director.

Compton further explains that the 43EU looks and feels much more spacious than other boats of its size, after all the maximum length is slightly under 49′, which in European standards makes it more similar to a 50′ boat than a 43′ boat. The large saloon features deep dual settees, a smartly designed galley, and unobstructed visibility from every vantage point. Down below, the forward master cabin with queen island berth includes an en-suite head with separate standing shower. A second cabin sits to port, with two twin berths that can easily be converted to one double berth if desired.

One of the most unique interior features of the 43EU is a separate utility room and massive lazarette that provides a remarkable amount of space for  storage, tool room, pantry or  laundry area and a very generous aft crew cabin if required.  Exterior spaces are equally generous, with wide 19-inch side decks and a covered cockpit. Up above, a spectacular flybridge features a generous seating area with an L-settee around a large dining table, a second settee to port, centerline helm seat with room for optional seats on either side, and plenty of space for a sizeable tender and optional hydroelectric davit.
