From October 31st Valencia Boat Show will be held

The Valencia Boat Show takes an exciting new direction in 2016 with a fresh commercial focus as well as different dates. The Valencian exhibition will now take place in October instead of April. In 2016, the Valencia Boat Show will be held from 31st October to 6th November with major European boat builders confirmed to attend and with the opportunity to test the boats at sea. The new president of the event organizer, Unión de Empresas Náuticas (UEN), Fernando Jimenez, aims to shake up its image and include it in the ranks of major international boat shows. To do this, the Valencia Boat Show has confirmed the attendance of major boat builders from the European nautical industry. For the first time ever, Bavaria, Beneteau, Dufour, Hanse and Jeanneau will attend and showcase an entire new fleet of leisure boats from 2016. “The Valencia Boat Show will be the star of the autumn in Valencia, a city that attracts tourists from all over Europe, and will confirm the city in its place at the centre of major sporting and sailing events. The main attraction for visitors will be the opportunity to test the boats, thanks to the excellent conditions in the Marina and the typically beautiful weather of this Mediterranean city”, said Fernando Jimenez.

In addition, the Valencia Boat Show will be one of the key players in the bringing to life the Marina Real Juan Carlos I, reaffirming the city’s reputation as a national and international nautical destination.

The final boat show of the season on water

The Marina Real Juan Carlos I area has been chosen to host the eighth Valencia Boat Show, from 31st October to 6th November, where visitors can experience the thrill of more than 50 new boats on the water and 60 new models on shore, along with the best quality accessories and clothing for leisure yachts and water sports.

The Valencia Boat Show is making its name as the final boat show of the season to take place on water, offering a unique opportunity to test the boats along the Valencian coast, which is an incentive for boat builders and buyers, and a major boost for nautical tourism in the city of Valencia.

Throughout the month of November, the city of Valencia will have a very distinctive national and international feel: after the Valencia Boat Show, the city will go on to host the MotoGP World Championship final race (13th November), the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Marathon (20th November) and the Reebok Spartan Race (3rd December).
