Valencia Boat Show opened last sunday november 1st

Yesterday at twelve noon saw the inauguration of the tenth edition of the Valencia Boat Show, which will be held until next Sunday in Valencia Marina. The director of the show, Mercedes Gomis, the deputy of Tourism, Pilar Moncho and the director of Valencia Marina, Vicent Llorens, together with the naval commander of Valencia, José Ignacio Villarrubia and the vice president of the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community, Rafel Xirivella, sounded the horn to announce the beginning of the show, in the purest nautical style.

Throughout the five days of the exhibition, visitors will be able to discover all the novelties in the nautical panorama, with sailing and motor boats, inflatable and semi-rigid boats ranging from 2 to 20 metres in length, with prices between 500 and 1,200,000 euros. The main national and international boatyards are present once again this year at the show, which is the last in the Mediterranean boat show calendar, since in 2016 the show changed its dates to November. This change of dates consolidated the Valencia Boat Show as the show for deciding and for buying, with a great incentive: the possibility of testing the boats before buying them, thanks to the facilities offered by Valencia Marina.

The offer of new boats is completed as every year with marine engines from the main brands in the market, latest generation electronics, sails, rigging, accessories, and nautical services. In addition to all the equipment and services to take to the sea, visitors will find proposals to learn to sail with schools such as Llevant Blau or Oceanic, or to insure their boat with Yachtman, Solana y Mengod or MAPFRE, which is one of the sponsors of the event and presents its renewed insurance for pleasure boats.

The show also has the mooring proposal of Valencia Marina, joint organiser of the Valencia Boat Show and Valencia Mar, the new marina that is being inaugurated as a sponsor of the show. It has also installed a mini beach next to its stand to the delight of visitors to the show. For the best seaside leisure, Valencia Marina’ business association presents Viu La Marina, its joint gastronomy and nautical leisure proposal, and also offers a wide variety of Valencian dishes in the “Del Tros al Plat” plaza, in collaboration with València Turisme.
