New manager for Azimut Brasil

Azimut named Davide Breviglieri as the managing director of Azimut Brazil. Breviglieri will report directly to Paolo Casani, CEO of the Business Line Yachts division. Breviglieri, who has lived in Brazil for 12 years working for Italian multinational companies, will team up with Felipe Berra, whose existing responsibilities as supervisor of industrial operations and the supply chain have been stepped up. Joining the Azimut Brazil team is Henrique Toledo, who has been appointed CFO. Headed up by Breviglieri, the new team will be responsible for developing production, expertise and synergy between the Italian and Brazilian companies. In addition, the team is expected to double production each year for the next three years to reach an average output of 100 boats a year.

A brand of Azimut-Benetti Group, Azimut Yachts has been present in the Brazilian market for more than 20 years through a licensing agreement period in which over 500 boats have been sold. In 2010, the company decided to invest in the creation of a new production site in the state of Santa Catarina. Known as Azimut do Brazil, the firm is a wholly owned company founded under local law.
