The appointment was announced this week at the China International Boat Show. Piero Ferrari, deputy chairman of Ferrari SpA and son of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari, has joined the Ferretti Group’s new Product Strategy Team. The appointment, which was officially announced this week during the China International Boat Show, is part of a wider management development project aimed at further strengthening the group’s international development in a time characterised by increasingly complex challenges in terms of global presence and sustainable growth. The new Ferretti Group Product Strategy Team, which includes several managers from within the boating sector, was created with the objective of analysing the main global market trends in order to define the group’s best brand and product strategies for each and every market.
Piero Ferrari is an engineer and yachting expert. His involvement will allow Ferretti to rely on his long-standing experience in the development of R&D-driven luxury products strongly characterised by innovation.
