Harken has become the exclusive supplier for The Oracle Team USA, the Swedish Artemis Racing and the Emirates Team New Zealand, all challengers of next year’s 34th America’s Cup.
Exclusive supply contracts signed with Oracle, Artemis, and Emirates Team New Zealand add to the existing supply agreement Harken has with all 34th America’s Cup contenders. This is Harken’s fourth consecutive America’s Cup with the Oracle team, going back to its first challenge in 2003.
The agreement with Swedish challenger Artemis Racing will see Harken as its official technical supplier. Harken will be responsible for the engineering and production for carbon fibre racing winches, gearboxes, titanium TTR2 blocks, and TTR2 sheaves on Artemis Racing’s AC72s. For the Emirates Team New Zealand, Harken will supply carbon racing winches and pedestals, gearboxes, titanium TTR2 blocks, and TTR2 sheaves.
