America’s Cup Challenger Artemis Racing Spanish has signed a leasing agreement with superyacht yard Vulkan that allows the team to use the yard’s sheds. The area will be occupied by the 60 permanent team members plus up to another 60 temporary staff for training purposes and to fine-tune their vessel in the run-up to the 34th America’s Cup, which takes place in San Francisco in 2013. Vulkan is located within the port of Sagunto, 30km north of Valencia — the host city to the 32nd and 33rd editions of the America’s Cup.
