Baltic Yachts announce signing of 39.62m superyacht

Baltic Yachts has announced the signing of a custom 130’ high performance cruising yacht. To date Baltic yachts has delivered nine fully custom yachts above 100ft built in carbon composite with the focus on comfortable cruising combined with high performance and low weight and this 130-footer is no exception.


Nauta Design is responsible for overall styling, deck and interior design for this Baltic 130 Custom with the hull lines from the board of Reichel Pugh Yacht Design. The yacht will have a full carbon sandwich construction and be equipped with a retractable propulsion system and lifting keel. Nigel Ingram from MCM will be the owner’s representative on the project with the build start in September this year and delivery in summer 2016. 

The Baltic 130 will have a plumb bow and a wide stern combined with a flush deck to fulfil the owner’s wishes as a passionate regatta sailor. The yacht will have an owner forward layout with a saloon, galley and an additional five cabins, two for guests and three for crew. Baltic Yachts is a well-known builder of high performance sailing yachts that are exclusive, tailor-made dream yachts of high quality material and construction. The company was founded in 1973 on the philosophy to build ‘lighter, stiffer and faster’ boats using new materials and technologies combined with a high degree of customisation.

Baltic Yachts today is considered one of the leading hi-tech yards with a turnover of 38 MEUR and 200 employees. This year Baltic Yachts is delivering two new builds, a 108 and 116 footer, along with the launch of Nariida, the 105 ft Wally that has been in for a refit this past winter. In production Baltic Yachts have a 115 and a 175 foot project alongside this new 130 footer and the Lifecycle Service department projects.
