SailBiz.it Media Partner to Marco Nannini’s and Paul Peggs’ entry in the Rolex Fastnet Race

SailBiz.it, the internet portal dedicated to the latest business news in the marine industry has become Media Partner to Marco Nannini’s and Paul Peggs’ entry in the Rolex Fastnet Race that will start from Cowes on Sunday 14th August. The media partnership agreement with Marco Nannini’s team will involve exclusive material to SailBiz.it during the Rolex Fastnet Race with updates in Italian and English. The SailBiz.it logo will be displayed on the hull and boom during this event.

THE TEAM

MArco Nannini moved his first steps in ocean racing in the RORC, RSYC and SORC circuit. In 2009 he won his class in the OSTAR and in 2010 was runner up in the Shetland Round Britain and Ireland. In November 2010 he completed the 3500 miles from St Malo to Guadaloupe in the prestigeous Route du Rhum.

Paul Peggs’ experience spans over several decades with class wins in Cowes Week, Spi Ouest Mumm 30, skipper of Inn Spirit durante the Commodore’s Trials. In ’99 Paul moved to solo racing building a Mini Proto “Blue One” to take part in the ’99 and ’01 Mini Transats. He then went on to win his Class in the Shetland Round Britain and a double handed win in the Fastnet 2007, as well as serveral wins in the SORC circuit.

Together with Marco and Paul, Marc Stevens from South Africa, and the british Bruce Scott and Simon Curwen.
