Southampton Football Club has announced luxury yacht manufacturer Sunseeker International as a new official partner of the Premier League returnee.
The South Coast club, competing once again in England’s top flight after a seven-year absence, has agreed a three-year contract with Sunseeker, which is based not far from Southampton in Poole, Dorset.
The agreement sees Sunseeker branding added to the team’s newly-installed dugout seats at its 32,000-capacity St Mary’s Stadium.
Nicola Cortese, executive chairman of the Saints, said of the partnership: “I believe that our new partnership with Sunseeker is based on a set of shared values and beliefs. Both companies strive to achieve the very best, and are constantly seeking to cross boundaries into fresh territory.”
Sunny Thakrar, finance director of Sunseeker International, added: “This partnership gives us the opportunity to further the awareness of our brand to the global audience that the Premier League attracts.”
“Southampton Football Club was a natural choice for us given their south-coast location and their promotion at the end of last season. We are very pleased to be a partner and look forward to hosting our clients from around the world at St Mary’s.”
