German car company Audi will remain main partner of STG and will be title partner to the national squad, while software giant SAP will stay on as technology partner and is going to intensify its investment into technology that gives sailors the tools to improve tactics and strategy with SAP Sailing Analytics and will further improve virtualization with SAP Tracking for racing to be more tangible to spectators.
Marinepool will be the official supplier of sailing clothing and technical and maritime fashion to the teams under the STG umbrella.
These teams obviously include the A-team or “Audi Sailing Team Germany” in Olympic and Paralympic classes, but also all national sailing teams right down the youth and kid´s level in Optimists.
Apart from the investment into the STG clothing collection itself, Marinepool has added another position to it´s design team and the future will see a totally renewed dinghy collection with designers dedicated exclusively to dinghy and racing wear.
The world class athletes on the STG have been in workshops with the Marinepool design team to help develop their own team wear. Their experience and invaluable input will clearly show in the new collection which is currently under production. Performance sailing clothing second to none!
