Dahm International to bring two sailing yachts to Monaco Yacht Show

At this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, which runs from 25 to 28 September 2013, Monaco-based Dahm International will once again present two sailing yachts for sale.

The luxurious schooner Lady Thuraya was built by the German shipyard Lubbe Voss and Lunstroo Design in 1982 as Borkumriff II, before she was completely refitted by her current owner in 2008/2009. The successful 31 metre charter yacht offers accommodation up to eight guests in four en suite cabins and two crew cabins for a crew of five.

Inspiration was the first Jongert 2200s sailing yacht ever delivered, built in 1985, she presents a piece of sailing history. Built for Herbert Dahm according to his ideas, she inspired not only him but set new standards for luxury yachts, combining comfort with excellent performance. The yacht featured a hydraulically operating stern garage, retractable and rotating bow thruster, to name just a few of her innovations.

I sailed as a guest on board the yacht in June for a couple of days, and despite her age, she is still a remarkable and fast sailing yacht. Visit Dahm International on stand QJ16 on Quai Jarlan.
