Greek Yachting Association (GYA) is leading the initiative of charting these uncharted waters by safeguarding and guaranteeing the presence of every serious and highly professional commercial yacht in this side of the Med. The founding members of GYA have been the Charter Managers and Central Agents of the vast majority of these yachts anyhow and there is no doubt that this will be the principal Charter Show as we all know it.
The Hellenic Professional Yachting reality has been historically slight different than the rest of the World. Greece, a sea nation, portrays a much more prominent role of the “ship”owners themselves who are not just investors but very passionate and very knowledgeable of that part of their sea activity; a fact not negative in its essence. While owners are invisible to the Brokers and your Charterers, rest assured that they are following every need and safeguarding optimum operation and integrity along with their trusted Central Agents.
For that latter, GYA is in excellent relationships with Owners who are vivid supporters and a “sine qua non” elements of our success. The list of Participating yachts, companies and brokers says it all.
It is our great pleasure to announce the 2nd Mediterranean Yacht Show that will take place in Nafplion from the 2nd to the 6th of May 2015!
The 1st Mediterranean Yacht Show, was held in Nafplion between the 3rd and 7th of May, 2014, and noted great success.
It attracted more than 200 attendees, brokers and members of the press and provided an excellent platform to demonstrate the important role that Greek CA’s can play when working to accomplish common objectives.
The Board Members of the GYA (Greek Yachting Association) are now even more committed to shaping a show of the highest quality and of augmented trade interest: a show that will cover a wide range of topics and that will create unique opportunities for interaction with all yachting factors active in this area of the world.
Nafplion proved to be a city that combines traditional charms with state-of-the-art facilities. It is a location where you can enjoy visits to historical monuments and superb local cuisine without sacrificing any of the comforts of a modern city.
The warm and spontaneous hospitality of the city’s inhabitants, together with its gentle climate, will welcome you to what promises to be a highly productive, very enjoyable and successful show.
